We are delighted to announce the launch of our new PathTROL™ Tryptase Positive Controls!

PathTROL™ Tryptase Controls are lyophilised Human plasma controls containing native Human α-Tryptase and β-Tryptase comparable with patient plasma. The controls are designed for the continuous long-term quality control of Tryptase tests in clinical and research laboratories.

The control plasmas are available in two clinically relevant concentration ranges, Positive (20-25 ng/ml) and High Positive (80-100 ng/ml). A batch specific table of externally assigned target values for the ImmunoCAP® Tryptase test run on Phadia® Laboratory Systems is supplied with each control.

In addition, Tryptase is now included to our PathQAS™ Allergy internal Quality Control scheme, and optional enrolment is the included with the controls. Our peer-to-peer monthly QC scheme provides the comparison with user-group consensus values, local inter-laboratory comparison and independent third-party controls recommended for ISO 15189 compliance.

PathTROL™ Tryptase Controls are available worldwide along with our multi-analyte PathTROL™ Allergy control sera, and end user as well as international distributor enquiries are welcome.
