Tomtec Quadra5 Liquid Handling Workstation

An intuitive pipetting system with six stations supports a range of accessories for automated sample prep like SPE, magnetic bead cleanup, dilutions and standards additions.

The Quadra5 liquid handling workstation can be configured for a number of tasks. Including automated SPE – both positive and negative pressure, accurate sample transfers, precise standards additions, sample dilutions, and magnetic bead cleanup.

When changing methods, no recalibration is required with Tomtec’s fixed 24, 96, or 384 tip pipetting heads, making Quadra5 simpler to operate than systems five-times its price. The Quadra5’s software, with optional 21CFR11 toolkit, enables use in both non-regulated and regulated environments. Optional automated plate stackers provide true walk- away high-throughput plate prep.

The workstation is engineered around a reliable fixed-head air displacement syringe design which services a six- station shuttle. The six stations can support a wide range of accessories for automating sample preparation like solid phase extraction (SPE), magnetic bead cleanup, as well as dilutions and standards additions. With an optional plate- stacker, the Quadra5 can be used to queue up to 50 assays. With an easy to learn, user friendly WIN 10 64 bit graphical interface, the Quadra4 delivers speed, flexibility, and precision.
